Thanks so much for your call. It was nice to hear from you. Sorry about the delayed response, we've been pretty swamped since we got back.

Kris and I really enjoyed our wedding, thank you for all the hard work! I've been recommending elopement to my friends.

The itinerary was great, we followed your advice on timing so made all the ferries and got up to the Floating Cabin in time.

Our hosts were very nice and extremely warm and friendly. Renting the boat was a great idea, we were going back and forth so often. We felt we were on a great adventure (figuratively as well as physically). The Floating Cabin was very cozy, we enjoyed our time just hanging out there in front of the fire.

The ceremony on Friday was really fun!  Our host asked where we were having the ceremony, (house deck or patio on the adjacent cliff). It didn't occur to me that we could even have it on the patio, but once I thought about it, I knew that was the perfect place.  It was an adventure getting everyone out to the patio on the cliff.  The Marriage Commissioner was a bit apprehensive (due to a fall she took previously) but really went out of her way to accommodate us. She really deserves many thanks.  The ceremony was short and sweet, we added our own vows and then signed the Registry and got a temporary Statement of Marriage. We went back down to the house deck and then celebrated with Champagne and snacks.  The dinner was fantastic, we really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to others for sure.

Kayaking the next day was also an adventure. The outfitters were very nice and the meal provided was again excellent. We are planning to go back to kayak with them again.  Kris capsized and then lost his wedding ring. Luckily, one of the guides was able to go back and found it. Crazy. It still makes me laugh as I write this.

The bottom line is that although we didn't know exactly what to expect, when we got there we loved it.  I'm really happy we found your site and connected with you.
