We wanted to thank you for a lovely wedding and honeymoon.  To be perfectly honest, we were nervous about both the wedding and employing Viva Las Weddings.  This was mainly a function of unknowns, getting married without including friends or family, having the ceremony a long distance from home, in a different country and with a planner we’d come across on the internet (we actually checked the Better Business Bureau of Vancouver).  In the end, we decided to take a chance and couldn’t be happier with the results.

 

With respect to the accommodations, photographers, ceremony, etc., everything was perfect.  The resort was just the place for us, with all the amenities in a beautiful natural setting.  We were treated with respect by every staff person as well as many of the other guests (which was also a concern as a lesbian couple).  What beautiful flowers!  We should send you a photograph, they were absolutely gorgeous.  The photographers were wonderful.  They spent an enormous amount of time with us, taking lots of photos during and after the ceremony. 

 

It also made such a difference to have your help with the necessary legal steps.  We didn’t have the first clue what needed to be done to get married in Canada.  Everything was so simple since you had set everything up for us.  We received our wedding certificate just before we moved from Michigan- having our commitment legally recognized makes such a difference.

 

Finally, how wonderful to get married on the very day that the federal government of Canada made gay marriage legal!  It seemed to be the perfect end to the perfect day.
