This wedding package is for 20 people and includes the following services:

• Wedding Ceremony Venue: Minoru Chapel at Minoru Park, Richmond - 90 minute venue rental.

• Dinner reception in downtown Vancouver – overlooking Robson Street you will find O'Doul's Restaurant & Bar, a charming hideaway evocative of the days of discovery.  The room features a vaulted ceiling dominated by a massive sepia-toned, Old World map dramatically accompanied by perfectly balanced sculptures of compass roses and an elegant 68-foot mahogany bar.  European-trained chefs explore and revel in the rich flavours and bountiful harvest of the Pacific Coast and the fertile Fraser Valley delta.
  The Vintage Gallery in O'Doul's Restaurant & Bar is quickly becoming a favourite haunt on the gourmet circuit. This private, very "clubby" room for groups of up to 20 people features over 1500 bottles of our private reserve displayed in a substantial wine rack (over 20 feet long and 8 feet high). The room is designed for gourmet events, wine-paired dinners and tastings.  Includes food for 20 - menu available upon request.  Beverage not included.

Following your service, beautiful gardens and heritage buildings await, providing the perfect backdrop for your photos.  For an additional fee, the vintage 1912 CW Parker Carousel is also available for photos. Ask for details. During the open season, your guests are welcome to tour the site where costumed townsfolk welcome visitors into their picturesque shops and homes. • Wedding Ceremony Venue: Milner Chapel, Langley - 2 hour rental.  Picturesque Milner Chapel offers couples an old fashioned, magical venue for their wedding. This charming vintage setting nestled in Langley's Milner district, has meticulously preserved the original decor that once saw young couples married at the turn of the century. The elegant chapel offers a beautiful backdrop for an intimate wedding gathering. Couples can also rest in the special knowledge that years from now, their wedding site will be preserved truly as it is today and as it was decades ago.  Includes a one hour rehearsal prior to the wedding plus two hours venue rental on the day of the wedding.  An organ and piano are available – musicians can be hired by request.  A portable stereo for recorded music is not available however, arrangements can be made.  Maximum capacity: 90 persons.  The Chapel has no denominational ties.  Viewings can be arranged by appointment.

This package is for two and includes the following services:

• Three nights accommodation at a Floating Cabin on a pristine lake at B.C.'s beautiful Sunshine Coast.

• Three day boat rental - a 16' Bayliner with a 50HP Mercury Outboard. Seats 4 people. The boat has moorage nearby.  A $200 CAD damage deposit (cash/certified cheque/money order) is required at the time of your arrival, and will be returned to you upon satisfactory inspection of the motorboat.  Fuel is not included - you'll receive a full tank of gas with the boat upon orientation and the boast must be returned full of gas.

• Six hour kayak tour for two: The Ragged Islands Explorer - "Discover the Copeland Islands Marine Park."  The Copeland Islands Marine Park is definitely a classic sea kayaking destination. This package is for two and includes the following services:

• Two night’s accommodation at a romantic oceanfront hideaway - this romantic Sechelt Bed & Breakfast and Spa is situated amongst the most stunning and picturesque Sunshine Coast scenery.  The luxurious accommodations provide a private, romantic, adult orientated, waterfront retreat featuring panoramic waterfront views of the Strait of Georgia from Sechelt, BC to Vancouver Island. • Venue: “M.V. Royal Vancouver” – This 75' yacht is the ultimate harbour cruise vessel. With her sleek lines and modern decor she is a guaranteed crowd pleaser for any event.  There are 2 spacious decks that accommodate up to 90 passengers.  She is equipped with a full surround sound system (with separate volume control), a fully licensed bar, a lounge area, and of course, her Captain and crew.  This six hour Wedding package includes:

Tax Information:

The new 12% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is due to be imposed by the BC government on July 1, 2010.  All wedding packages with services delivered after July 1, 2010 will be subject to the new HST tax. 

The existing 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will apply for all wedding packages with services delivered before July 1, 2010.

Tax Rebate Program for Non-Residents Visiting Canada:

The Canadian government has implemented a HST rebate program for non-residents who purchase tour packages.  Please see below for how the federal government defines a "tour package." 

Tour package

A tour package must be an eligible tour package to qualify for the rebate for tour packages or short-term accommodation for resale as part of a tour package. An eligible tour package must include either short-term and/or camping accommodation in Canada and at least one service. Examples of services would be transportation services or guide or interpreter services. In addition, the package must be sold for an all-inclusive price.

If you don't reside in Canada and your wedding package includes accommodations with at least one eligible service, you may qualify for a 50% rebate on the total tax paid on your wedding package.  VIVA Las Weddings will assist you with the application form.
